Noooooooo!! RIP to another Northwest FM legend! I believe he was in Bismarck ND a few years ago as well. I remember when he used to post on here as well, but I haven't seen new posts in years. Gone way too early.

Wow, definitely gone way too soon. When I was a junior in high school, it was a toss-up between him and Tommy McFly from WRQX when I found the stream for KISC. Yes he was in Bizmarck in 2012, and was also tracking fro KPKL in Spokane when that relaunched. I'm not sure what happened there, but he came back to the market when iHeart launched KZFS as Christian AC Up 99.3, but must not have lasted that long.

I knew JJ for 33-years....all true what's been said. I started a website and posted airchecks of him at: www.jjhemingway.com Really miss him! We talked right up to the end. He was in bed the last weekend and too weak to use the phone much. We communicated right up to (a) Friday and we lost him on (a) Monday. Still can't believe it. Shine was terrific. I wasn't there because I live on the east coast, but, a few hundred people attended a tribute service that Shine sponsored. Really class of them.

Did he have an actual account on here because i looked at some of the threads he posted on and it says guest under his posts and there is no profile options when you click the username radiojjh? Heres some examples of this where he posted.

After someone doesn't post for an exrended time their account will show inactive and then later it will drop and go to showing as a guest. I don't know what those times are and sometimes they don't seem to have any rhyme or reason as some people who used to be here a lot will show as guest ans others who have posted very little and not in 10+ years will still show as active.
