JOE CRUMMEY TO HOST 10AM-NOON ON WABC STARTING 10/11/10

I'm glad it isn't that friggin Mancow. I heard him on what I guess was a "try out" before he got his Saturday night slot on WABC a couple of weeks ago. Someone needs to tell him to SLOW DOWN. He's talking politics, but like he's trying to shotgun the weather into the intro "I Feel Fine" and still work the calls in. Plus he's a "hurler" of the first degree. I don't understand how anyone could deal with more than 2 minutes of this guy, especially in what is a TSL driven format.

Maybe someone could record him and play it back at half speed to make the show a little more tolerable. Or he could just shout "NINE" and get it over with...

So....let me get this straight...you didn't like Mancow's show?
 
No. Political talk that sounds like a morning zoo with a top-40 jock going 500mph doesn't work. Tone it down and sound like a real human being, not a WMCA Good Guy and I could listen.

And how am I supposed to take "Mancow" seriously?

Well, is Joe going to host the show from New York? Doesn't he live in Southern California right now? Then it may be local, but what's the point of being local if you are a couple thousand miles away.
