Bala Cynwyd, PA (February 1, 2008) — Entercom Communications Corp. (NYSE: ETM) today announced that John Burkavage has been named Vice President/Market Manager of its six radio stations in Greenville, South Carolina (WFBC-FM, WGVC-FM, WORD-AM, WROQ-FM, WSPA-FM and WTPT-FM), effective February 15.

For the past seven years, Burkavage has served as Vice President/Market Manager of Entercom’s stations in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Entercom, he was Vice President/Market Manager of WTMI-FM and Sales Manager of WMJX-FM, both in Miami, Florida. He also had extensive experience in the Philadelphia radio market. Additionally, Burkavage held the position of Executive Vice President at Burkavage Design Associates and was the founder of Northeast magazine in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton region.

Good Guy in a tough business....always fair and willing to help support causes that needed the help but might not have had the cash....
