John DePetro and Jay Severin: Registered To Vote Where There Mouths Are ?

Yes, but DePetro should put his vote where his mouth is and Severino too.

as listeners we have the right to criticize.

In case you haven't noticed, as talk-show hosts they have the same right, and it's not conditioned on where or whether they vote.

Why, Casablanca? Both men are paid to entertain with opinionated talk on Boston radio stations, and they do that. Reasonable people can debate the extent to which they find either man entertaining, but that's not what we're talking about.

Gone are the days when a host had to drag himself to a station every day to put on his show.

Technology makes it possible for talent to be anywhere. As long as it works for advertisers and listeners, what's the argument?

Why do you think this radio-board ruffles their feathers so much?

ROFLMAO!!!!!

Yeah, right. An Internet message board full of whiners and critics and former radio people bearing life-long grudges is of prime importance to them. It's what they live for. They cower in terror at every word.

Tell us again how your head fits through the doorway.

Someone answer the question !

Can John DePetro and Jay Severin VOTE in Massachusetts or not.

You have a lot of nerve demanding that anyone answer a question after you dodged the racism/scott allen miller one.

I couldn't help but think the same thing about Mr. Severino. He can't possibly be registered to vote here in Massachusetts if he has only purchased his new home on the North Shore as of two days ago (or should we talking about voter registration fraud?).

Also, what's with his constant promoting of Mitt Romney as a presidential candidate? Doesn't Jay realize that Mitt is wildly unpopular in the Commonwealth - among both sides of the political spectrum? He (Mitt) hasn't done any favors to the Republican party in this state, maybe Jay is still reading the old press releases?

I still remember back when Jay pretended to be living up here and he was being featured on Imus. They were talking about the Jane Swift situation and Imus innocently asked Jay who Swift was running against. Jay responded with disdain, "I have no idea." I thought that was pretty funny at the time, what a fraud.

Michael Dukakis was wildly popular in Massachusetts but failed miserably as a presidential contender.

So maybe the thinking is that if Mitt Romney is wildly UNpopular in Massachusetts he would be a landslide winner.

Come to think of it, John Kerry, wildly popular in Massachusetts, also couldn't make it for president.

So maybe there really IS something to the thought that Romney's UNpopularity in Taxachusetts might make him a prize presidential contender!

The Mormon connection and those e mails in the Globe yesterday should be enough to sink Mitt. Dukakis had a much better chance than Mitt - it was that Tank photo that was so dumb.

Dukakis blew it while Kerry had it stolen from him. What upsets me about Kerry is that he failed to fight back adequately - giving weight to those Skull & Bones rumors - that they told him to back off and fight another day when Georgey Porgey is retired or impeached.

Anyway, not being psychic about this, it is clear that W has put us in one big mess.

While the notorious Tank photo might have been the final nail, some of his earlier actions had done nothing to support his candidacy.

We agree that Dukakis brought defeat upon himself.

Concerning Kerry, you may have a point. He, indeed, failed to fight back adequately and that, from a political viewpoint, may have cost him election. The failure to fight back also suggested a weakness that was hardly attractive to voters in a climate of fear (real or imagined). Perhaps the two points are closely linked.

But about Romney....

No, I don't think he has a prayer (intentional).
