A prominent Orlando anchor Jorge Estevez is coming to Atlanta in January as an evening anchor for Channel 2 Action News (WSB-TV).His final day at ABC affiliate WFTV-TV Channel 9 will be December 20.“It was an amazing opportunity that I really could not pass up,” Estevez told the Orlando Sentinel, which broke the news before Thanksgiving. “WSB-TV in Atlanta is a powerhouse, not only in the state of Georgia, but also in the entire country.”Estevez spent a collective 12 years at WFTV over two stints. He worked at WFTV in 2001 to 2006, then spent six years at a CBS station in Miami before returning to WFTV in 2012.

Note Estavez had 2 stints at WFTV prior to Cox moving him to WSB-TV
