Wow, doesn't it seem that women love Judge Judy? My opinion: I don't like how she yells and is so hateful with both plaintiffs and defendants. There are several judges I can pick, not only TV but in real-life Superior/Small Case courtrooms that are nicer than Judge Judy. Wheel of Fortune was #2 and won total households with over 11.8 million. Not surprising for 67-year-old Pat Sajak. I hope he keeps going for a long time - just like Bob Barker on TPiR. He could be 80, Vanna could be 70, both still doing the Wheel.

Yeah I don't like Judy either, for pretty much the same reasons. She reminds me too much of the lady who became my boss after my long-time one retired, back in 2008. So glad I don't have to deal with her now!

She isn't hateful. She cuts through the BS.

I have nothing but love for ole' Judy. She used to be a family court judge and an interesting yet confusing case landed on her desk. It involved an Orthodox Jewish ex-husband and his new Russian-Israeli wife & a child by his ex wife. The ex husband and his new wife conspired with judges, prosecutors, and the family court to have his Russian-speaking ex wife committed to a mental institution - and winning the ex-husband custody of their minor child. Judy, she took the case and refused to even allow detectives and state investigators to review anything as she realized she had a HUGE conspiracy on her hands (Russian-Israeli mafia type thing) and trusted no one. She (Judy Scheindlin) ended up freeing the Russian speaking woman (that played a huge part in the case, no one could understand the woman) from the mental institution (she was not insane, but was put there against her will by the gang in the conspiracy all working together) AND got her child back. Judge Judy did this ALL on her OWN with no help or support from anyone. She is a wonderful, wonderful woman and not hateful at all. In fact, had she been hateful she would have been off the air a long time ago. She loves people and she has a very high standard of morals, and she is sick of people always using excuses and reasons for the evil that people do. And she DOES call it "evil". She is a really good lady and I think very misunderstood.

Not many people know about that story I told about her, I read about it in the 90s in the LA Times (it was a celebrated case) and have the article copied onto my computer.

Judge Judy makes about 50 million a year and earns every penny. Trivia: She doesn't use a computer the web at all, even casually.

I could not stand to go through even one of her cases she has on TV. I would end up like "Columbine" as some of the people on the show literally make me ill. They all have excuses for everything and are as dumb as dirt.
