Just saw one of the worst "Radio" TV commercials .....

maybe it's because I know the "back story" .... perhaps I am Jaded ..... BUT .... the question is what is the worst Radio TV commercial you have EVER seen ......

I have a few more to nominate .... But, I am curious if anyone else remembers the HORRIBLE/STUPID ones I do

The sad part is that I can not think of a "great" spot. This time of year, radio and TV trade spots for November Sweeps. Neither are creative. It's no wonder that audiences are dwindling.

Promoting a radio station on TV use to be fun and creative, but with all the budget cuts we've seen in the past
few years, apparently many companies have chosen to ditch any effort to sell their product to the public.

The best spot I can remember was about 20 years ago for WTQR. It was a syndicated spot and featured a head shot of a beautiful girl whose lips were in sync with tightly edited clips from audio of the radio station. I'm sure some of the other mature folks on here will remember it. I change channels when the current WTQR spot comes on with head shots of Roper and Angie Ward. At least the spots for 93.1 the Wolf aren't as irritating, for me, as the WTQR spot.

Amen brother.
When companies cut programming and production the way they have ... there is no longer the time or resources left to be creative.

But really ... marketing on TV is sort of out-dated now. Hit the social folks.
