Did anyone happen to catch that episode?
It was a poignant commentary of the condition of today's broadcast radio. Muscle Man needs to get a song on the radio and he tries calling the station only to get the automated phone attendant. In his frustration, he solicits his friends, Mordechai and Rigby and they drive to the radio station. On their arrival to a completely empty parking lot; the automated system prompts them at the door, "Do you have an appointment?" Their reply, "No...." The system, "goodbye."
To make a long (and funnY) story short. They guys spot the DJ who has been relegated to the night-time janitor. He tells them the story of how the computer took over the station and fired all the DJ's; but kept him and his voice around for maintenance. The guys try to manually play a song and the computer fights back. Once the tape deck is patched into the board the computer puts the whole station in a self-destruct mode.
Pretty funny show and really great episode.
