Methinks somebody needs to replace their sales staff.

Jeff, blame that dumb a$$ Candy for 94.5 and 97.9's failure. He plays it too safe and he has no creativity.

So what?

I agree with John, income is income. In fact, in some ways K-Soul & "local psychic" go together well. I say hats off to the one who closed that sale.

I couldn't agree with you more buc... Add fresh talent (all local), great mix shows, retro dance shows etc. Hip Hop ain't what it used to be. Back in the day K104 used to play Morris Day and the Time and follow it up with a club mix of INXS. You never knew what to expect but it was entertaining!

That's when radio was good. I remember one time I heard Dr. Rock put "Hound Dog" by Elvis in the mix.

Hope they got CASH in ADVANCE or they may need a sooth sayer when it come time to collect

My favorite "psychic on the air" episode was when 570 was still WFAA newstalk. The overnight host, iirc her name was Sandra Seness (sp?) came to the Belo Chateau one night to do her show, was not allowed access to the building by the security guard at the back door and was informed she would no longer be on the air. Which all leads to the obvious question... if she was so stinkin' psychic, why didn't she know she had been canned before it happened???

A club mix. Of INXS. That might get me listening to a music radio station again, but, something tells me I'd be wasting my time looking up and down the dial for that now.

KKDA runs spots for physics as well. But unfortunately that what happens in radio. Pawn shops, payday lenders and tote the note car lots tend to advertise on black radio. Why? Because most of the time the consumers of those businesses are black folks.
