Cumulus Media “Talk Radio 790” KABC Los Angeles expands its partnership with iHeartMedia’s Total Traffic and Weather Network (TTWN), which will now provide unbranded national network newscasts for the station. TTWN has been providing local news and traffic reports to KABC since 2018.

The change comes as Westwood One News, which KABC previously carried, was shuttered at the end of August. Cumulus Media owns the Westwood One network.

“We are excited and happy to continue and expand our relationship with TTWN,” VP/Market Manager Drew Hayes said in a release. “They have proven to be not only a top-shelf national news and traffic services provider, but also a responsive and creative partner.”

This comes as Cumulus owned News/talk stations have signed with ABC Radio (KGO and WLS), Fox News Radio (WABC/WLIR(Red Apple Station using Westwood One Content), WBAP and WMAL) and CBS News Radio affiliations as a result of Westwood one News Closing down.
