Congrats to Kaedy!!
I wonder why it took so long for someone to put Kaedy back on the air!! She dominated afternoon drive back in the day and WAS Rock and Roll radio in Atlanta for years. And on top of that.....she's good people.

Never met Kaedy, but Bruce at Cox told me what a cool person Kaedy is. I made a point to pass that information on. Therefore I give ALL the credit to Bruce.

This is great news. Talk about a DJ who knows her stuff. Can't wait to hear you on the air again, Kaedy. Finally, some proven talent and competition in this market! Couldn't have happened to a more deserving jock!

Only downside is I am so used to hearing her in PM drive. I wonder if she could come up with a Friday-morning version of the 5:00 Whistle?
Kaedy is a good fit for the music-oriented River, and the Whistle would fit that very well as well.
Side note: Kaedy's 5:00 Whistle was the ONLY place (besides 99X's House/Duplex of Retro Pleasure) I ever heard The Kings' "This Beat Goes On/Switchin' To Glide" ("nothin' matters but the weekend...") in ATL...I don't think anyone in ATL aired that song in its original early-80s heyday...
