Kathie Lee Gifford and Donny Osmond:New Talk Show In Fall 2006??

Well,it seems that Kathie Lee Gifford thinks that The Insider is just about to be cancelled.

This is from the Associated Press:

"Kathie Lee Gifford,who debuts as a correspondent on "The Insider" this week,is said to be shopping around a new daytime talk show that would pair her with Donny Osmond. According to the Hollywood Reporter,Gifford is hoping to launch the show in fall 2006."

All I can say is: "Oh Boy!".I liked it when Donny and Marie did their talk show back in the late 1990's and even their variety show from the 70's but seeing Kathie Lee and Donny together makes me nauseatous. Kathie Lee has aged quite considerably since her days with Regis.

I would rather have seen Donny and Marie back with something of their own than him being paired with Kathie Lee Gifford. She can't sing or anything else for that matter as evidence on Tuesday when she talked on The Insider(I had to endure the last 5 minutes of it before Jeopardy) about her pairing with Donny Osmond on her talk show. When she sang,"A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock And Roll" with Donny it sounded horrible. Donny and Marie sang a whole lot better together than Donny and Kathie Lee will ever sound.

I wonder why Kathie Lee decided to end her retirement. Is she a threat to Martha Stewart and Ellen??

I,too, know some former backstage informers. They have told me everyone on the show (Regis & whomever) hated her. She would come on sweet and then tried to get you fired behind your back.
I have never heard anything personally bad about Donnie or Marie, maybe I'm a little bit corny and I'm a little bit more corny but nothing mean spirited about them. And, they do have talent.
