Hope for the best with the person that was hit in the accident.

KDKA-TV news anchor Susan Koeppen on Friday struck a woman with her car in a Downtown Pittsburgh parking garage, the news station said.

The incident was reported Saturday by KDKA, the Post-Gazette’s news partner, during its 11 p.m newscast.

Ms. Koeppen told police she didn’t see the woman walking up a ramp, KDKA reported. The woman was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Ms. Koeppen co-anchors on KDKA weeknights at 6 p.m and 11 p.m. She joined the station in 2011.
