No problem. Here's some slack; but kindergarten! Didn't your mom let you listen to Radio AHHS instead of KEEY?
Well, we moved there in 1975, and I was about 3. So I didn't really start to notice radio until 1976, and for sure by 1977 when disco was everywhere. But in the Granada, which only had a Philco AM, it was WCCO and KSTP on the way to school in Minneapolis (but that wasn't until 78-79 when I went to private school), which is when I heard one of them do their "it's so cold in Feb-burr-ary" joke. By then, I could name the songs and some of the artists I remember hearing, including the Theme Song to Greece, Rocky, YMCA, Don't Stop (the Force), Star Wars Disco, Dancing Queen, Magic, Fernando, Take a Chance on Me, Hardache, On the Radio, and Coppacabana (which I distnctly remember hearing on the clock radio, which was relocated to my bedroom by winter 1979).
Previous to 79, the only songs I remember heaing in that car, was a some oldies and pop hits, like "what goes up, must come down," "Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport," "Song Song Blue," "Cats and the Cradle," "Daydream Believer" (Ann Murray version), and whatever station ran Paul Harvey. So you can just guess which station was on most of the time (WCCO?).
But KEEY, I believe I heard in the back of my mom's Ambassedor wagon. Not sure if my dad had it in the El Dorado, which was usually playing 8-Tracks with Classical Music like Auther Feidler, John Denver and Barry Manillow. Again, circa 78-79.
Sorry for all the detail, but that's the only way I can remember the order of all that stuff.
