Keith Olbermann Out At "Football Night In America"

Thanks goodness. Now if they can just get back to football instead of preaching. I stopped watching last year when they went "green" and turned off all the studio lights.

Would it be a hoot if Bill O'Reilly was named to replace Olbermann? Not that's going to happen, but if it did, old Keith would have a stroke. ;D

Or Dennis Miller? (this fall marks the 10th anniversary of the first of two seasons that Dennis Miller served as ABC's Monday Night Football color commentator).

Rush Limbaugh knows football, put him on there to replace slobbermann.

The original article from Sports By Brooks points out that, in the wake of Limbaugh being dropped from the group with interest in purchasing the Rams, it was only a matter of time before the other shoe (i.e. Olbermann's appearances on an NFL-sanctioned program) dropped.

Keith Olbermann has to be the meanest most partisan host of any TV show. HANDS DOWN!!!

His nightly rantings on MSNBC has done nothing to endear him with the public.

It has begun to catch up with him and will impact other career opportunities.

Good riddance!!

I say, get Megyn Kelly from Fox News to co-host. She has the ratings, and she can hold her own. Has anyone seen her go toe to toe with O'Reilly?

Or how about this team? Rush Limbaugh on play-by-play, Keith Olbermann to provide color commentary, and Dennis Miller for forced comic relief. And since sideline reporters need to know nothing about football, perhaps Rosie O'Donnell on the sideline to balance out the political leanings of the team.

The only downsides I can see is that Limbaugh might call every play as going to the right, Olbermann's commentary could be a little too colorful for TV, Miller would lose everyone with his "too smart for the room" obscure references, and O'Donnell might be mistaken for Tony Siragusa. Oh, and nobody would pay attention to the game. But it might be entertaining.

...care to give a specific example of the "preaching" you refer to here? Provided, of course, that it actually exists in the real world...

High-larious, dhett! :D

By the way, wouldn't everyone agree that Limbaugh were going to join any network for NFL duties, it would be Fox? ::)
