Ken Broo moves from Channel 5 to Channel 9 in a month.

Not a radio story, but it does involve Ken Broo, who does Sunday Morning Sports Talk on 700WLW. He is leaving Channel 5 and moving to Channel 9, replacing Dennis Janson. Broo starts at Channel 9 on Saturday December 14th, so I guess he'll be the weekend anchor and John Popovich will be the weekday anchor.

I guess Broo didn't have a no-compete clause.

And he will continue to do Sports Talk on WLW.
 
Good lord, can't we get some fresh voices for our local sports? If you want to get a good laugh, tune in to SOAS on Sunday evenings and hear just how bad it can get, so bad it is funny. I watch it every week for the pure uncomfortable entertainment of Jim Breech, Martin and Popo. I keep waiting for Al Shottelkotte's ghost to appear to provide an editorial on the bad cinema. Now they add Boo's and Bravo's? It is can't miss tv.
