After 10 years with KENS-TV, executive news director Kurt Davis will leave the station for what he calls “a once-in-a-lifetime” position with CBS News in New York. <snip>

In his new role of vice president of CBS’ news services, Davis said he’ll be overseeing the affiliates’ news-gathering arm — called Newspath — which provides content to 200-plus CBS affiliates. “I’ll be overseeing nearly 200 employees in offices throughout the country and in London and a couple of international desks as well,” he explained.
