Kevin Adell is quitting broadcasting bussiness; WADL is up for sale

Meeting Kevin was a very interesting experience. His offices, studios and uplink at The Word were first class. He had two very large and long garages out back. They held his collection of very expensive cars. I must admit it was great to get to see that TV Bat-mobile in person. I would estimate he had about 70 plus cars in those garages. In his office his desk was covered with several inches of paper work, magazines and who knows what. I sold a lot of stations to a lot of people. Kevin is a person ya do not forget.

That's interesting WADL was supposed to go to a Nexstar related company Mission Broadcasting around the time Paramount removed the CW affiliation the first time from WKBD. But that deal was cancelled.

That post is magnificent; you are a master of professionalism and public propriety.

Sometime, over a dinner of your choice paid for by me, I'd love to hear the B-side of that encounter.
