I noticed on the Variety Hits board that you predict Kevin O'Neal will cut KWNRs 25-54 in half this book. Do you really believe this or is it just wishful thinking on your part? What in particular impresses you so much about Mr. O'Neal that you think he will be able to accomplish such a feat? Has he ever cut 50% of a heritage stations audience in one book before?
I wouldn't count SUNNY out as a potential repeat for #1. Yes, December is their best month each year with Christmas music. But as the only AC in the market (and a well programmed one) with lots of office listening, they should do well most of the year. Don't forget they also had a great Phase 2 of the Fall book and that was BEFORE they played any holiday music. The way the market is currently structured it wouldn't surprise me if they are #1 two or three books a year, they should usually be in the hunt for it.
I do thnk KKJJ is one of the contenders for #1 in the next book. But even if you do stay at this exact level and ranking, it's a big improvement from LITE. Any concern for the longterm? I have noticed several Variety Hits stations start declining about 9-12 months into the format.
