KFI-AM Los Angeles HIRES Talk Show Host Graham (fired by WMAL)

Yesterday, John Zigler (filling in John & Ken's Show)
had the freshly fired Michael Graham on and
he did very well considering the circumstances. At
one point, when Zigler remarked "you'd never have been fired
if you were at KFI," Graham responded in a way
that seemed smooth enough for a job audtion and
I thought with that kind of impassioned monologue,
he OUGHT to get Zigler's slot. Amazingly,
he gets a KFI job today. I wonder if Zigler's
got anything to worry about?

WMAL shouldn't have fired him. I have heard other talk show hosts say the same that he said.
It's just because the station he worked for is in Washington, DC.
:-(

Drudge is reporting that Graham HAS been hired by KFI. SO was this a guest shot, an audition, what?

And who gets canned? If he Graham wants a M-F gig, the only possible spot vulnerable maight be "My Kids Mom...." IMHO

Bill Handel interviewed Graham this morning during the 7:00 hour. Looks like initially he'll just be a fill-in host and maybe a weekend show.

A little pub for KFI doesn't hurt.

It certainly is not all altruistic on the station's part.

Agreed. It just so happens that WMAL is Disney owned,
so the spineless corporate folks are at it again.

Just an update: Michael Graham is filling IN for
John Zigler's slot tonight on KFI. Interesting how Zigler
mentioned today that is he's ever canned, Graham could
take his slot. Hope Zigler stays around for a while.

Michael Graham is doing some fill in work this week for KFI. That is all. This was another clever publicity stunt from KFI. Drudge was even part of it.

He starts Monday on his new job as a talk show host at the internet talk site RightTalk.com where he will be hosting a new show that can be heard daily at 12 noon EDT and podcast every hour on the hour...

Great, just what the town needs: another boring Rush wannabe, spewing political crap that no one in the real world gives a wet slap about...

I'd rather hear a Rush wannabe than a Franken actual, which according to the ratings, puts me in the vast majority. Please keep this in mind when you post about the "real world".

Re: KFI-AM /More red faced screamers

Robin is putting all her eggs in one basket. What with
John & Ken, the alreadly minimaly talent Zeigler and
Grahm. I wonder how many red-faced screamers can one
station have?. The angry man route is being done to
death. Actually I find Kevin Wall to be more more
entertaining and informative than anything Zeigler
does.
