KFRO-AM and KCUL-AM to flip to Christian "The Way".

I heard that the station is running ID's and maybe even some local spots. Im glad to hear that KFRO is making money. With money comes more gear for the station and she will be get back to where she was. I was listening to one of "The Way" stations the other day online, and found one of their programs to be pretty good. sad thing I dont remember the name of the show. With old age comes senility and grouchyness. I'm already throwing rocks at little kids that walk on my lawn LOL.

***BUMP***

Well, it's been just over a year since all this started going down. Strange how the board has been seemingly quiet about these two pieces (OK, one piece and one, well...) of ETX radio history. What are they doing now? Are they still pointing ETX to "The Way" or have they lost "The Way" yet?

Enquiring minds wanna know........

Both are still rebroadcasting the Moody network until around 7pm. And instead of turning off the transmitters they just leave both KFRO-AM and KCUL-AM running dead air at night.

KFRO-AM's audio is low with some distortion again. I think it's a waste of time. Either rebroadcast KKUS "The Ranch" again or sell the stations off to somebody who'll maintain them and programs for the community!

If they're leaving the XMTRs on with open carriers, why don't they program a PC to at least run music? Makes no sense to me.

But then, I suppose that's why they get paid the big bucks to do what they do...run radio stations into the ground.
