I’m going to stay away from “Route 66”, the list of artists would go over the horizon.

Instead, I think I’ll go real country with:

“Georgia Peaches” – Pirates of the Mississippi
“Cut Bank, Montana” – Hank Williams, Jr.
“Mississippi Delta Trilogy” Tom Morrell & the Time-Warp Tophands
”Please Come To Boston” – The Nashville Bar Association
“Blues For Dixie” – Lyle Lovett w/Asleep At The Wheel

You're absolutely right, and [as a Bob Wills fan since my youth] I should not have missed these two. Thanks...

How is this for groovy?

Calcutta - Larry Welk!
“Calcutta” was and is a classic tune from the Welk era; and the Bobby/Barbara dance team should be rated up with Astaire/Rogers - B/B were not as elegant or smooth as A/R, but had some very fun moves with excellent timing.
