Ballad of Thunder Road (from the film by the same name) - Robert Mitchum
Trivia bit: The film was based loosely on a 1952 incident in which a driver transporting moonshine was said to have crashed to his death on Kingston Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee somewhere between Bearden Hill and Morrell Road. Early in the film, Mitchum drove a souped-up 1951 Ford with a custom tank in the back for moonshine. The '51 Ford was modified with a '49 hood and grill and with the rear taillight trim removed. The film's dialogue wrongly refers to the car as a '50.
Second trivia bit: The role of Mitchum’s younger brother, Robin Doolin, was originally written for Elvis Presley per Mitchum's request. Elvis agreed to play the role but negotiations with Colonel Parker broke down and the role of brother was given to Mitchum’s real-life son James.
