Kimberly King to Leave KNSD-TV 39 NBC San Diego

June 12....

Stay tuned or viewed .....

I've always thought that Kimberly King was kind of a female version of Rod Luck...she always came off on the air as an incoherent unfocused surfer chick that was either high on "mari-jew-ahna" or drunk on alcohol.

How she ever got in to NBC 7/39 I'll never know. Her biography on the KNSD website seems to insinuate that she directly went to NBC 7/39 directly after she got her degree at San Diego State. And how she ended up with her own 1/2 show indicates to me that she got in there because she knew somewhere there.

wulfdawg: Get a life. What an over-the-top post. She's basically pleasant and cute, and in local TV
that's important.

I'm just concur and repeating what a lot of media professionals think of her here in town... She might be passably pleasant but the bottom line she is not very good broadcaster. She always is on the verge of stumbling, often has trouble reading off the teleprompter, and her tosses to the anchor desk are often very labored and awkward.

She's a major lightweight in San Diego newscene and won't be missed.
