KKDJ 102.7 Top of the Hour "Voice Of Change" ID

Only Rick Carroll could take a Song by Mason Profit, edit it and make a top of the Hour sounder out of it. Sure no one remembers it or cares. He also used the "Voice of Change" in Sacto too!
 
You are amazing, that you found the one time 'Voice of Change' was played as a song or at least point 7s worth! I special ordered that Mason Profit LP, Everyone I knew had the KKDJ 24 Super Charger Hits LP. Steve Sands sounded good. Not one of my favorites but solid just the same!

It was a good station...got to #12 in the fall '73 book, only 2 and a half points back of KHJ....and actually tied KHJ in nights in the fall of '72 and beat KHJ in nights in the fall of '73. But when Drake took K-100 Top 40 with Morgan, Carson, Chase, Steele, Pearl and Butler in December, he split the available Top 40 FM audience. Too bad. Left alone, I think Rick Carroll would have had KHJ beat overall in another year or less.
