Robert C. Blakes Enterprises sells Silent 750 KKNO/107.1 K296HM Gretna/New Orleans LA to Jeffrey Thomas, Wendell Pierce and Troy Henry’s Equity Broadcasting for $200,000. The buyers own Black Talk 1230 WBOK New Orleans. KKNO went Silent in August 2024 after a failed transmitter that the seller could not afford to fix or replace.

KKNO was officially returned to air as per FCC filings on August 8th, before the 1 year return to air deadline.
Was not able to listen like I wished however station seems to be back on air currently playing a urban AC format and simulating on 107.1Fm.

The word, sir, is "simulcasting", as in "simultaneously broadcasting".

He's been here since 2003, has over 2,300 posts, and certainly should have been able to check such a short post for autocorrect errors.

Nope real person, just wrote it on fly and didn't check the auto correct on the phone. But no AI here.. Its one of my real bad habits any place I post. Makes people think im related to Farmer Fran from waterboy movie 😆
