KKSF (SMOOTH JAZZ) & KBWF (COUNTRY) TAKE A NICE LEAP IN RATINGS !

Could Country finally be catching on in the Bay Area?

And look at KKSF! In the Top 10 with a nice leap. A lot of folks think Smooth Jazz is dying....Sure doesn't seem like it in SF or anywhere in the West?

Poor KFRC. Can't even break a 1.2 in SF or 0.5 in SJ.

But KDON (out of Monterey) catches a 1.5 in SJ...Go figure??

KBWF went from a 1.9 in the fall to a 2.0 in adults in the winter book. Not exactly a ratings explosion.

Number-two-rated KSOL (Estereo Sol) went from 3.6 to 5.1 -
THAT'S a nice leap in the ratings!

I heard from a reliable source that KSOL won the book like Santa Ana won at the Alamo. They apparently had gains of 50%-75% in lots of places, like 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.
KFOG and KOIT still did well but besides the KKSF and KBWF stories, everybody else got killed.

Yes, KKSF should have an increase since dumping Whoopie from the mornings. Another Kim Bryant bright move bringing Whoopie in
from syndication. Do we see the pattern?
