So is the title of their show, a play on the movie title ,'Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants'? Just curious why they call it 'The Traveling Plant Show'.

You will have to listen to the podcast (recording of the show) to make sure you get the correct answer, but the way I remember them explaining the name, it refers to the traveling medicine shows because they were carrying their plants to many places (like farmer's markets). That is from memory, so it is best if you confirm this from the recorded (podcast) show. They did discuss it for a minute or two during the show.

Since Tom Spencer's health made him give up the broadcast, they have had a problem finding a longterm host for the early Saturday garden show. I have liked all of the hosts and found them quite knowledgeable. Maybe they could not find adequate sponsorship? It's a tough business.

I will give the new show a try. I haven't been keeping up with my listening for a while now, but have noticed that the Natural Gardener/Jeff Ferris podcast hasn't been updated in about 18 months. What's up with that? Hadn't noticed since I still listen to him live mainly. Sheryl's show podcast is updated. i am so glad that he and Sheryl are still around :)

I know Bob Webster is keepin on truckin on KTSA and he's on iTunes also. Also have listened to him forever.

I do wish they'd put all of the KLBJ podcasts on iTunes. That's where I have my library and I will admit I listen to KLBJ podcasts less often because they use a different client.
