KLIF AM 570 moved from KLIF-FM HD2 to KSCS-FM HD2?

Yesterday, I found out that the HD2 simulcast of KLIF News/Information 570AM has moved from KLIF-FM 93.3 HD2 to KSCS 96.3 HD2 (formerly where the "Texas Twister" used to be), complete with programming information. Is it a technical glitch, temporary move or is that their permanent new spot?

I just want to know if they finally dumped HD. They are still weaker in Houston than I remember. They used to be almost static free - not as strong as KTSA or KLBJ, but a definite semi-local signal. Now, much weaker. I do not get any trace of HD sidebands on 580, though. I think if they were running HD I'd be getting sideband hash.

If you're talking about the main KLIF AM station, yes. Their HD signal has been killed off since sometime in 2009.

Smart move on their part. I wonder how their ground radials are doing - something has deteriorated.

I HOPE their ground system is still in tact, um, not being stolen.

Literally, pulling copper from the ground radials of AM's located in Pleasant Grove area of Dallas was something of a problem, even as early as the 1990's.

Surely this problem hasn't expanded to Coppell?
