KLSX Real Radio Era: Voxx, The Rock N' Roll Psychic?

L.A. Radiophiles:

Remember back in 1995, when Classic Rocker KLSX, highly rated and on a roll after a free plug from Judge Lance Ito during the OJ trial, suddenly dropped the music and went to a talk format that was not exactly warmly received when it debuted?

Howard Stern railed on the air about the new Real Radio format, and called KLSX the weak link in the Howard Stern network.

On the air from Midnight to 3am every night, preceding Howard's live portion from NY, was a show called Voxx, The Rock N' Roll Psychic.

That was great. They drop rock n' roll, then put on a rock n' roll psychic. ???

Long story short, this Real Radio show was badly unreal. But it seemed to last for awhile, anyway.

Voxx finally left the air after less than 2 years, and hasn't been heard anywhere that I know of since.

To this day, KLSX management should be ashamed of themselves for Real Radio.
