Knoxville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg HS football...

I'm traveling to the "Smokies" in a week or so, so where on the airwaves can I catch some HS football play-by-play and "scoreboard updates" besides "The Animal"? I need to relay a few scores back down to Lebanon

(Even when I'm on vacation, I'm not on vacation...)

Lots of games on the dial in and around Knoxville on Fridays.... Here's some just off the top of my head.

WNOX 100.3 carries CAK games on Fridays... they also have a postgame call-in show that covers most of the area scores. It's a nice complement to the Animal.

105.3 carries Farragut games

99.1/99.3/990 Catholic games

98.7 Bearden games

730 Loudon or Lenior City games

850/1180 Alcoa games

1400 Maryville games

Are these allowed? The games take place after dark. I've heard of stations airing games the next day.

1180 airs until sign-off...They continue to broadcast internet only... streaming the games through apps like tunein and shoutcast.

These days it's already dark when the games begin.

WRJZ 620 did Powell last year, havent flipped over there this year, I'm sure they still are

99.1/99.3 does Catholic, while 990 does a game of the week...they share halftime and pregame shows though

At WLIL THe Legendary AM-730, we have night-time authorization, and are on-the-air with Lenoir City games. They can also be heard live streaming at WLILCOUNTRY.COM

Glenn McNish is in his 46th season as the 'Radio Voice Of The Panthers'
A feat in and of itself...There is a claim that no other sportscaster has done PBP for the same team longer. Can anyone on the board refute this?
