KNTE Should quit tring to serve Houston and flip to Hip hop and serve Victoria

I think KNTE should flip to hip hop and serve Victoria. They may have a better chance at making it. I hear people really want a Hip hop station after they flipped 100.9 to Rock.

Not really a Houston targeted station, although the signal on 101.7 is listenable on the southwest side of the metro area. Rather spotty at my Cy-Fair location, although tropo will boost it quite a bit.

I think there is still the possibility of Liberman selling KNTE, since they unloaded the nearby 96.9 signal; also if the KJOJ 103.3 upgrade ever gets built.
 
Didn't they try to serve as 96.9 in Houston when they owned it? Maybe KSBJ would buy it and flip it to ngen.

NGEN desperately needs North, NW, and NE Harris county coverage. Outages on KSBJ-HD-2 are frequent and annoying because the stupid radio switches back to KSBJ's analog praise and worship garbage. When that happens - it is extreme DX for the weak 99.5 translator from Cypress - or no NGEN at all. If I am going to stream, I might as well stream Orlando's Z-88 HD-2 hip-hop or HD-3 rock formats. I hear that Z-88 just put a better signal for their rock format smack in the middle of Orlando. Even secular rock fans are listening! I wish KSBJ would get something like that for NGEN!

96.9 is weak in NW Houston, you are almost better off trying for the 99.5 Sugarland translator. I keep hoping maybe KSBJ will approach Air-1 with a generous offer for 103.7. That would fill in the huge NGEN hole except for extreme NW Harris county.
 
103.7 is still on the air? I seem to remember performing an exorcism several months ago to remove that frequency from my radio. ;D

I call Lawanda Page "Sanford and Son's Esther" from the grave, and preform one with you. ;D That way it will disappear from not only your radio but from the earth itself!

sarcasm mode off.

Christian formats are done better by mom and pop's, well for all radio formats for that matter!
I would seriously like to preform an exorcism on the ownership rules of radio as of now, and bring back mom and pop operations.
I am sure all faiths would come in mass for it!
