KOA/Denver Extends Deal with the University of Colorado

Iheart has announced that KOA will continue to air Sports from the University of Colorado.


iHeartMedia's KOA (NewsRadio 850 AM & 94.1 FM)/Denver will extend its broadcast agreement with The University of Colorado Athletics Department and its multimedia rightsholder, Buffalo Sports Properties, for a 77th season. As part of the deal, KOA NewsRadio will continue to bring fans coverage for all Buffs sports including football as well as men's and women's game broadcasts.

Full promotional support will also be provided on KOA's sister stations including 103.5 FM The Fox, KBPI-FM (107.9) and KBCO-FM (97.3). The new three-year broadcast agreement will begin with the upcoming 2020-21 collegiate athletics season. Additionally, Mark Johnson will return this fall as the "Voice of the Buffs" for his 17th season of play-by-play reporting for Buffs football and men's basketball.
