KOFY-TV 20 is sold to CNZ Communications

Yes - Gabbert made a killing. When he sold TV 20 to Granite, it was a "WB" affiliate, and was riding comparatively high. I don't recall how soon after the sale - but not long, the WB folded, combining with UPN to become the CW, but Channel 44 in the Bay Area got the nod as the CW affiliate, leaving KOFY out in the cold.

Didn't they get a bunch of money from the repack, though? (Maybe I am thinking of someone else...)
