Well Prior to the recent Tribune/ Sinclair Deal. Sinclair Television Previously managed KOVR 13 if you see the ending credits of this KOVR aircheck it said Chesapeake Television was the owner of KOVR and produced by Sinclair.

But around 2005 when CBS Took over KOVR 13 nobody around here in Sacramento even considered how powerful Sinclair is. However, in 2017 Sinclair is returning to Sacramento as part of the KTXL Deal plus other Tribune owned stations like KTLA and WPIX included in the deal.
