As far as Lauren Freeman goes, She just had her third child as she returns to Local 2 from her maternity leave. The connection between McNeil and Owen Conflenti really does have a strong connection to its morning viewers. But I hope this change at the anchor desk will suit very well with the staff & management of Channel 2.
