KPXS 104.7 Vidalia is back on the air as KWTG

In central Louisiana, apparently no one noticed that one of the Miss-Lou stations came back on the air after being off the air for a few years apparently.

Tom Gay, owner of KFNV 107.1 purchased the former KPXS station and has returned it back to the air as KWTG as a classic country station targeting Natchez,Ms. and the Louisiana side around Concordia parish.

Haven't been able to read all the details but apparently picked up the shuttered station for $150k according to FCC files on the web.

RFLA

How much power? Will it reach Mccomb Ms? 97.7 Natchez reaches as far east as Summit. Even though WTYL is on 97.7 in tylertown. More importantly will it reach Baton Rouge? ;D

RFLA I can pick up 95 country all the time. day and night in my truck and in my house. with 0 problems. They are actually a decent station since cc doesnt own them anymore. They play classics occasionally and not just the 10 that WYNK plays!

Seems like WQNZ has been owned by the Perkins family since the beginning of time. It was the first station I worked at going back to January 2 1984.
