KQOL FM To Flip To All 90's CHR As GenX Radio

I listened to the station when it first came on the air in December and I looked at the playlist again today. It seems as though the station is not exclusively '90s and has added more and more '00s hits to its playlist. In my opinion, sprinkling in some early '00s hits isn't a big deal but no station calling itself 'Generation X' should be playing '09 hits like Lady Gaga - Bad Romance or anything by Miley Cyrus, but this station is. What I thought would be a cool concept is turning out to be nothing more than a hot AC.
 
Are you sure? I haven't heard any Lady Gaga on Gen X lol. I've heard some early Justin Timberlake stuff but that's about as late as I've heard. Maybe you accidentally flipped it up to 106.9?

That must be what happened. There's nothing like that showing up on their "Top Songs" at Yes.com. (Assuming Yes.com is reliable.)

Too bad we didn't get the Gen X station OKC instead we get "The Barf"
 
The "Barf" is going to generate a good amount of revenue for them. It's been a long time coming for the format. Appearently you don't like it, but someone in Tulsa would smart to do do the same thing. Is CC's execution of the format excellent? Hell no. But it's as close as we will get for a very long time.
