Many of you have to remember Kris O'Kelly, who worked at various Alabama stations from 1967 to 1995. His real name is Michael Flaherty, and he has written all about his adventures in radio. You can read it all here:

Great stuff! I missed a lot of Kris O'Kelly because he was on air while I was in school. I loved his work at Oldies 98 - listening to him the week of the format change and able to pick it up all the way to Dothan at a high school football game.

Great Read! I was the engineer who came in and built Sunny 103 in Montgomery....now I know who this guy is! I remember him well!
