KRON News Director Quits: Is There "A Story Behind The Story"??

Chris Lee, the news director of San Francisco/Oakland's embattled KRON-4, has resigned according to several reports on the Internet.

Although leaving KRON, Lee has started a blog on the Blogspot website (this is a link to his blog).

KRON has had some rough times since losing it's NBC affiliation, cutting back on staff and adopting a "VJ" (Video Journalist) system where reporters shoot their own stories.

Does anyone know if there is "more to the story" about Lee's departure from KRON than has been reported??

Young screwed up big time. I stopped watching KRON 2 years ago. CBS5 is my place. KRON4 now looks like a high school operation with thier citizen reporters, misscues. VERY SAD!!!!
