103.5 The Bomb and KSFM 102.5 in Sacramento are nothing to get exited about a lot these days when you turn to their radio dial. KSFM plays more pop like their rivals KDND 107.9, but are loyal to their listeners. KBMB is trying to be like KSFM and play too much pop. They been having extreme low ratings for the last year because of Big Boy's show no one listens to in Sac. Also, bad mixshows(Fridays and Saturday night mixes ending at midnight-bunch of party poopers). On Saturday nights after midnight, they have a mixshow till 3am, but it's already pre-recorded. KBMB is biased, especially after banning Chris Brown songs and none of the others for their crime and recording songs that degrade women and contains illegal activities. To add on, 103.5 The Bomb wants to do whatever they want to do and not give what the listeners want. Their music director Short-E needs to be demoted, Pattie Moreno, program director, needs to go, Dj Mofo, mixshow coordinator, needs to be demoted, and Famous and most of the Bomb staff and street team needs to go. They treat listeners like trash. A good friend of mine used to be an intern at the radio station from 2007-2008 and told me all of this was going on. I started to notice that their music, Big Boy, Baka Boyz, and the mixshows were turning garbage last year and they don't care to change and go back to being a real hip-hop station they were in the earlier years ('98-2004). I noticed when KBMB have been at events, they talk down to their listeners when someone gives them respectable criticism of the station and try to help them out with suggestions. They are not professional and therefore, they are one, if not the worst hip-hop station on the West Coast and nationwide.
