KSKY (660) HD 92.9 FM signal has static in it's transmission

Didn't notice the static, but I DO hear plenty of distortion in the audio. It also sounds under modulated.

So, is this thread a subtle hint for the engineers or is this all you can talk about regarding radio? Why not just call the business line and tell them in person.

I think you're right. It sounds terribly under modulated. I just stick with 660 AM rather than mess with the FM signal.

At times this is the best "hotline" to many in programming and engineering. There are tons of times it seems to have worked much better than direct...

I didn't get to speak to the eng. anyway. I got his VM, and left my number if they needed to call me. But why???? The problem is self evident. I assume they care, but that it will cost $$ to fix, and they're not going there right now.

Yeah. If they don't know about it in a day or two from listening or someone within their own group telling them they either don't care or it's a technical issue still pending something to get it right (maybe money too... Sometimes management chooses to do nothing even with an engineer telling they need to fix it)
