KSL-5 in Salt Lake is missing out on "The Playboy Club".

Remember when the Billy Graham Crusade used to semi-regularly pre-empt primetime fare? Maybe KSL can look at a regular series for the duration of "Playboy's" run.

They're showing back to back reruns of The NBC sitcom, "30 Rock". There's nothing dirty about "The Playboy Club".
Have those uptight Mormons even listened to the dialogue on "30 Rock"? I think they'd be better off showing what they're supposed to. ;)

I noted that tonight, KSL is still running "We Are Utah", as opposed to the "Prime Suspect" replacement for "Playboy". Perhaps they shot a number of these "Utah" shows and need to air them out. But, once again they are going against what NBC is offering.

...doubt that idea will get traction at Bonneville and LDS HQs. Back when Paul Crouch bought KUSW, the shortwave radio station outside Salt Lake City, and turned it into KTBN Worldwide with the audio feed of Trinity Broadcasting Network's satellite signal, there were some heated columns in the LDS-owned Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune. TBN had a habit of allowing its televangelists to call the LDS a "cult" on the air, and old Billy Graham tapes were among the items on the schedule at the time...

Correction, KSL is indeed running NBC programing tonight, with
Prime Suspect. The titan tv listings were incorrect.
