The BBC produced two seasons of this series, totalling 13 episodes, and was seen in its entirety in Canada, unaltered, on YTV. However, NBC thought it would be better to make Eric an American living in London, with Hank Azaria replacing Mark Heap as Eric Feeble -- the NBC version was cancelled abruptly after three episodes, and was never seen in the US since, not even on DVD (which is available in the UK).
