Coming Friday May 12, 2023, local newscasts on KTVL Ch 10 Medford, Oregon will cease operation. It began as an NBC affiliate in 1961 and switched to CBS since 1983. In 1968, they were the first station in Medford to broadcast local color. It's due to their current parent company Sinclair Communications and their random layoffs.
