KTVT and CBS News handling of the Dallas Mass shooting of Police officers

http://www.broadcastingcable.com/moment-ktvt-dallas-work-shifts-peaceful-perilous/157882

Yes Dallas CBS O&O was covering the protests when the attacks tookbplace
KTVT was also all over CBSN at times too

Upon hearing of the shooting while watching MSNBC, I immediately switched to local coverage, at first checking WFAA 8 (Only to find they weren't streaming) & then former Fox O&O KDFW 4 who still uses Livestream for streaming (Not that that means anything but worth mentioning given how many inroads NewsOn had made in such a short amount of time). I stuck with KDFW for most of the night (Smart move considering WFAA 8 was only streaming during its 10 PM news (Something WFAA would NEVER had done in 1963 when JFK was shot & assassinated if the Internet & today's media options were around then)

Not sure if WFAA went to JKL at 10:35 PM or not but if so, TEGNA might wanna look into this.....

Cheers & 73 :)

Jimmy Kimmel Live did not air on WFAA that night, and besides, it was a rerun anyway as Kimmel is in the middle of a 2 week vacation. in fact i think all the Local channels non-stop wall to wall coverage ended as soon as their morning shows wrapped up.
