Kudos To Saul Levine: Country Replaces Classical On 105.1

As I mentioned on another thread, the station IS streaming, and ex-KZLA APD/MD Tonya Campos takes over middays on March 12th.

The station will undoubtedly increase its current music percentage in order to become a reporter to R&R/BB.

Levine also said he'd be delighted withj billing $20,000,000 which is what KZLA billed in 2006, but that wasn't enough (according to Emmis's Rick Cummings) to keep the country format on KZLA.

But watching KFRG DOUBLE their ratings in LA with nothing except word-of-mouth was something I'm sure that Levine and his staff took note of.

Shawn Parr's morning show producer is Jeff Serr, who's been an air personality at just about every major LA radio station over the past 20+ years.

Having a better signal than KZLA's directional signal is also another plus.

Why would they care if they reported or not?
