KXAM drops Boortz, adds another crappy sports show

Yeah, so instead of some actual content (though delayed), Matt Genius Gerson knocked off Boortz.

So, we get this:

The Bandwagon Radio show is today’s all access pass into Sports, Celebrity News, and Hot Arizona Girls. Tune into 1310 AM during your drive home to hear the perfect mix of sports experts and pure histarical entertainment.

I suppose it could be worse, could be Matt Gerson Person to Person, or endless hours of colon blow/green tea/paranoid gold sellers.

Hey KXAM, there are enough sports stations in this town to do the job, you have the 2 worst sports shows out there, completely unnecessary.

Means the show is phunny! Even more histarical is that Nurse Jeff and I listen more to Lumberyard 14~Forty than Graveyard 13~Ten ;)

Oy vey, the mind is a terrible thing to waste....
 
First off let me just say that the one phone call and the two emails that complained that Boortz was off the air was just overwhelming.

I have decided to take some personal time off just to recover from the response...

Second... The Bandwagon show is not that bad... come on... give these guys a chance to get their feet under them.
If you still feel that way in a couple of months... fair nuf.

God forbid someone judged you so harshly on your first week at ANY job.

I wish there was a malcontent site where radio people could go and slam you guys at your jobs.

Dr. Akbar... I must say... love your posts here... but Graveyard 1310? That one stings... I won't lie. To quote the old guy from Holy Grail...
"I'm not dead yet! I'm feeling better! I feeeel haaappy!" I suppose some one will hit me with a club and throw me in the cart now.
 
Jeffry, you know I love ya! And I knew I'd have to have some asbestos underwear for this from you, so know that!

I liked Boortz, but honestly, no talk show is that great when its already 8 hours old, so I can see why the ratings may have been anemic!

I get slammed at my job all the time!

And, I still have the sandals, hoping to take them to Phuket in a few weeks for some very much needed relaxation.

As far as Bandwagon, when you are ready to hear political analysis, the day before the election, and you hear a couple of kids doing sports, well, that don't sit right. It was histarical...
 
Dunno if you noticed... there are more political stations here than sports... and I would imagine your knob works.

I really wish KXAM would go in a more lifestyle/general talk direction. I do like culinary confessions and dave ramsey. I haven't check out the bandwagon show yet but it sounds like a show that should belong on one of the sports stations, you know the ones, KDUS, KGME, KTAR. Why not give us something different on the station. Also, why do you air Matt Gerson, is it that big of a ratings grabber? How bout this?

Bob and Sherri (early mornings)
Daily Blender (mornings)
Culinary Confessions (early middays)
Dave Ramsey (middays)
Matt and Ramona (afternoons)
Cooper Lawerence (nights)
John and Jeff

Now that is a line up I would def tune into

Actually, I CAN believe that she is a second grade teacher...there are many others like her out there nowadays "educating" the youngest of society's young minds during the day...and bar/club-hopping at night.

My how times have changed.
