KYSR and KSWD how well do they bill and what can be done with their ratings?

Just asking, I know KYSR is slowly fading, its down to 2.4 in the PPM's and KSWD  1.7 yicks! How can they afford DJ's, the more music mornings with Kennedy doesn't seem to be helping much either on KYSR.

Just sayin

Based on the last "usable" book (November) KYSR is a consistent 6th or 7th in 18-34.

While it's 18-49 is off a couple of rank positions from the level set in early 2012, they are certainly able to sustain the billing level at around $21 to $22 million. KYSR is in the top 50 billers out of 11,000 total stations in the US. I think they can pay the bills with that.

And that, boys and girls, is a brilliant illustration of how 6+ numbers are indicative of nothing.

What stations are consistently in front of them in 18-49? I assume its KIIS, KPWR, KAMP, and KROQ but which other stations are also there? KXOL? KBIG?

KIIS, KBIG, Pwer, KROQ, KSCA, KOST, Amp, Jack, La Raza and Hot all play on that field... using a multi-month average prior to December and Holiday.

Remember, agencies buy on ratings points, not share. And, while there are usually 3 or 4 stations with a 0.5 or 0.6 rating, there are generally 7 to 9 stations all with a 0.3 rating... so if you are in that top tier of 11 or 12 stations, it is likely that, with proper CPP pricing, you can get on the buy or at least be considered for it.
