All I am receiving is an annoying Buzz from both of my AC powered radios. :-( The station made the announcement on the air that it would go "dark" at twelve midnight for routine maintenance, they did not say for how long of a duration. What other U.S. radio stations share the 1060 frequency? Does anybody have any DX reports? Have a good one!
Edited by jmd on 09/02/05 04:24 AM.

As of 12:30 am Friday morning it seems that KYW is back on the air with intermittent interuptions in programming. That annoying BUZZ sound that I heard earlier is gone as well. Sounds like they are still tweaking the transmitter.

For a number of years KYW & WBZ both used to sign off at Midnite [Sunday into Monday]every week for XMTR maintenence.

Same question I'd ask you, except I already know the answer.
